Questions
Before you order
Does it need a subscription?
No DeskSpotter subscription is required. It uses public data sources and your local WiFi connection.
Does it need a laptop running?
No. Once configured, the device runs on its own. The dashboard can be accessed from any device and is mainly for setup and customization settings.
How long does it take to build?
DeskSpotter units are assembled in small batches. We strive to have each enclosure built within 5 days, with final shipping timing confirmed before checkout or by email.
What do I need to use it?
You need USB-C power and a WiFi connection. After setup, the display runs on its own.
Does it need an ADS-B receiver?
No separate receiver is needed. DeskSpotter uses public aircraft data sources over WiFi.
